Led by curator Wong Yunn Chii together with co-curators Teo Yee Chin and Tomohisa Miyauchi, Singapore’s fifth presentation at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale sought to tell the stories of Singapore citizens stepping out and taking actions to adopt and own their environments.
The national pavilion was commissioned by DesignSingapore Council and organised by School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore. It showcased a selection of works in three segments: People and their Homes, People working the Land and People engaging the City.
O’lief was privileged to be retained as an extension of the organising team covering full project secretariat, events management and PR. President Tony Tan officiated the launch in Venice together with four other ministers.
